Extra Activities
We work together with Sport in Mind to help young people connect with horses. Currently on Tuesdays at 4.30 pm, we run a special mental wellbeing group that is government funded. The group is free to participants and is a great way to help young people build confidence, support their self-esteem and allow them to meet new people. If you are interested, please email:

Riding for Disabled (RDA)
On Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10-12 am, the ponies and horses take part in Riding for Disabled. Our instructors Hannah and Caroline train our horses and ponies for the job, making them great for nervous riders and fun games. If you would like to volunteer your time to help with the Riding for Disabled, it is very rewarding and a great way to spend time with lovely people and horses, please send the centre an email if interested.
Photo Shoots
We do themed photo shoots where you can take part with your favourite horse or pony. You can then buy your photos and all proceeds go towards the riding school horses’ welfare programme - such as dentist, physio treatments and regular saddle fitting checks/adjustments

Holiday Fun and Stable Management
We have many fun activities on school holidays, including mini hacks, dressing up, obstacle courses, jumping clinics. Riding school clients can also take part in specially arranged shows and fun games sessions.

ABRS Awards
Kelly Beard runs the pony days and also does stable management for ABRS Rosette Awards. It is a great way to learn more about horse care and after each completed section the student is awarded a certificate and rosette. There are also riding awards that can be gained as the students improve their riding skills.
